ZUCKER These feathers are first dyed over natural Half-Bronze coque tails, but will still retain the greenish-black iridescent sheen wherever present. The dye that is used on these feathers is not colorfast, and has the tendency to slightly rub off when handled. The tipping of these feathers can be done with either a dye or metallic floral spray that covers approximately 3/4 of the feather tip. Rooster coque tail feathers have a sturdy, but flexible spine (quill), and the body of the feather tends to be approximately 3/4-1 inch wide. Approx. 1.5 yards per 1/4 pound.
