The Researcher membrane hollow fiber cartridges are positioned between the laboratory scale Explorer and the full pilot scale Investigator HF cartridges. The membrane surface area is between 444 cm2 for the Researcher12 and up to 1,715 cm2 for Researcher41 and are the perfect choice for scale up/scale down studies and preparative biopharmaceutical work with sample volumes between 400 ml up to 8000 ml. The Researcher cartridges incorporates WaterSep' s well known antifouling, low binding modified Polyethersulfone membrane and are available with molecular weight cut off from 3K to 750 K and 0.1 µm, 0.2 µm and 0.45 µm. The Researcher HF cartridges are offered with the same path length as other high performance WaterSep HF cartridges. This makes scale up/scale down easy and predictable. The Researcher re-use cartridges can be sanitized and cleaned in 0.5-1.0 N NaOH, and stored in 0.1 N NaOH between usage.
