Vista Alegre Bicos Porcelain Bread & Butter Plate 6-Inch

An emblematic Vista Alegre glassware collection, Bicos has been given new shapes and colors over time, broadening its appeal and functionality. In response to the expectations of the growing number of fans of this line, Vista Alegre is now launching a Bicos porcelain service, with motifs in relief on the white glaze. Ideal for matching with Bicos glasses, jugs, salad bowls and cups in the various shades available, or to go with the most varied tableware and cutlery. The Vista Alegre porcelain factory was founded in 1824, in Ílhavo, part of the Aveiro district (near the sea, in central Portugal). The company was the product of the heart and mind of a 19th century Portuguese entrepreneur and visionary, João Ferreira Pinto Basto. Throughout its history, the Vista Alegre brand has been closely linked to the cultural life of Portugal, though it has maintained a high level of international renown as well, exporting its products to more than 60 countries. Their products are used in some of Europe's finest hotels and restaurants.
