Details: This is a beautiful porcelain trinket box with lid. It is richly decorated with a hand painted Victorian Couple in the Fragonard style. The box has many gold encrusted designs, both on the lid and bottom piece. More decorations, in the form of red and gold Moriage dots and swirls, are found all along the rim. Absolutely beautiful handiwork. The backstamp is a Chinese red stamp with Chinese characters and the words, Made in China. Wonderful decorative piece for the home. Also, perfect on a vanity or dresser to hold jewelry or to hide other tiny treasures.
