- COMPATIBLE REPLACEMENT MODELS – This 20 micron 20 x 4.5 sediment water filter is a replacement for Pentair ECP20-20BB, Hydronix SPC-45-2020, Liquatec SPF-45-2020, 255495-43, Watts FM-BB-20-20 and fits most standard 20 inch x 4.5 inch whole house filter housings.
- 20 MICRON SURFACE SEDIMENT FILTRATION – Pleated polyester media captures coarse sediment such as dirt, sand, grit, and visible debris on the surface of the cartridge, supporting strong water flow in higher sediment or high-demand conditions.
- PLEATED POLYESTER MEDIA DESIGN – Increased pleated surface area allows sediment to be distributed evenly across the filter face, helping reduce premature clogging while maintaining consistent flow compared to depth-style filters in lighter to moderate sediment environments.
- SERVICE LIFE VARIES BY WATER CONDITIONS – Replacement frequency depends on sediment levels, water quality, and micron rating; finer filters capture smaller particles more quickly, so monitoring flow or pressure changes helps determine when cartridge replacement is needed.
- IDEAL WHOLE HOUSE PRE-FILTER – Commonly used as a first-stage or main entry point sediment filter to help protect plumbing, appliances, water softeners, and carbon filters from sediment buildup and premature wear.
