This Siemens 3SE5 232-0KD10 mechanical position switch comes as a complete unit with a 31 mm wide plastic enclosure, one NO and two NC slow action contacts, and a centrally-fixed roller plunger actuator, and is suitable for use in plant and building automation systems. The slow action normally-closed (NC) and normally-open (NO) contacts switch from closed to open and open to closed in proportion to the speed at which the switch is actuated, and the roller plunger forcibly opens the NC contacts for use in safety circuits. The roller plunger actuator can be rotated around the enclosure axis in increments of 22.5 degrees and has a 10 mm plastic roller. The actuator allows 3 mm of plunger travel past the switch activation point (overtravel) for greater tolerance when switching.
