Combining style queues from an iconic sneaker silhouette, the 2023 Salomon Launch Lace SJ BOA® Team features all the things you know and love from the Launch Lace, including Fit to Ride construction and our STR8JKT 3-point heel harness, activated by BOA® Fit System. For 2022, we’ve paired the Launch with a redesigned, weather-proof XT-6 GORE TEX sneaker.
- Flex: Medium Flex – Medium Flex is adapted to riders that want to feel good on all terrain types, for all riding styles.
- Fit: Fit to Ride – FTR construction is 10% lighter and 10% more compact without sacrificing comfort or durability. With 1:1 lasting every half size change in liner gets a half size change in shell.
- STR8JKT BOA® – This inner heel harness works like a 3 point seat belt for your heels and is activated by the Boa® fit system.
- Liner
- Comfort Liner – Does what it says — wraps your foot in a soft welcoming hold that delivers instant and long lasting comfort. Featuring an easy-glide patch and Ultralon multi-density foams.
- Custom Fit – Heat moldable multi-density foams strategically placed in the sensitive areas of the foot, shin, ankle, and heel.
- Lacing System: Traditional Laces
- Footbed: Ortholite C2 Footbed – A dual density insole that molds to your foot for all day comfort.
- Sole: Contagrip® Rubber – Salomon's patented non-marking, super durable outsole with strategic-placed high-density compounds in areas that are prone to wear. Lower-density compounds are placed throughout to offer more flexibility and grip.
- Feather Outsole – EVA and rubber compound lightweight outsole that delivers cushy comfort and smooth landings.
- Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
- Flex Rating : Medium
- Lacing System: Traditional, Boa®
- Internal Lacing System: Quick-Pull
- Binding Style: Rear-Entry, Strap
