The Pharrell Williams x adidas 0 to 60 STMT “Multicolor” is an intriguing silhouette from the eccentric artist and adidas. In using the adidas Crazy BYW 2.0 as a model to draw from, the futuristic high-top seen here incorporates Pharrell’s worldly approach to design and the results are favorable. Decked out in warm weather hues, the upper features a synthetic yellow-to-green gradient shroud that can be zipped up or down. Additional details include Three Stripes branding with orange embroidered trimming, a dark grey nubuck panel along the heel and collar, light grey nubuck on the forefoot, and an ankle strap for support. Pharrell’s “Hu” branding covers the strap. The design is finished off with Boost cushioning in the midsole of the adidas “Feet You Wear” sole, a beloved staple found on many of the brand’s performance oriented sneakers of the late ‘90s.
