This is a pair of Platner Lounge Chairs, model 1715L, initially designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. These examples date to 1975, and the listed price includes the pair of chairs. The frames of these chairs are made from welded chromed steel rods, and the seats have been newly upholstered in Knoll Textiles red fabric.
Each chair measures 25.5 inches deep, 36.25 inches wide, and 30.25 inches tall. Their seat height is 18.5 inches. The frame’s finish has some patina, and we have left them in as-found condition. The new upholstery is pristine. Overall, these chairs are in excellent vintage condition with some signs of age apparent. Please see photos.
