The Paul Cochrane Timmy Pedal is an amazing overdrive is known for it's ability to provide a transparent overdrive to your amplifier while retaining the amps original tone. It's a fairly common thing for an overdrive to color tone, so why invest in a $1500 plus amp only to change it's inherent sound, right? You could call the Timmy pedal the little brother to the Tim, and to a degree, you'd be correct. It has essentially the same circuit but doesn't have the send and return loop nor the boost section. It's also a bit smaller, saving that valuable pedal board real estate!
At low settings you will be able to effortlessly achieve a sound that is simply "more" of what your amp already offers. As the gain is turned up, and the pedal's EQ adjusted accordingly, smooth, singing, round and reedy tones are at your fingertips.
The Timmy pedal's responsiveness is exactly like that of a great, tube amplifier in that it responds immediately to your right hand's attack.
FEATURES
* 9 Volt battery or AC adapter operation
* Controls: Gain, Bass, Treble, Volume
* Amazing tone and touch sensitivity
* Internal dip switches mirror the push/pull pot on the rear of the Tim pedal for selectable modes of more gain or asymmetrical clipping
Note: As you may know, the Timmy is very hard to find in stock anywhere, even here at Humbucker Music, so if it's in stock, it's honestly a bit of a rare treat. Snag one (or more) and if you don't like it, sell it on eBay for a profit. We don't care! :)
