The Nikon Prostaff P7 10x30 Binoculars are an updated version of the Prostaff 7S 10x30. Nikon has added hydrophobic (water-repellent) coatings on the outer surfaces of the objective and eyepiece lenses which makes them easier to clean, a locking diopter control that prevents your diopter setting from drifting, and they've added multi-layer dielectric coatings to the prisms, which increases light transmission for brighter images.

As with all Prostaff P7 models, the 10x30s are waterproof to 1m and nitrogen purged. They weigh a mere 16.6 ounces. Field of view is a very wide 346' at 1000 yards and close focus is 8.2'.
