The full brim style shields and protects from the sun and rain as well. Featuring a moisture wicking brow pad that is removable, washable and replaceable. This full brim hard hat has 3 goggle retaining clips on the shell and 4 fluorescent yellow retro reflective strips. It is also equipped with hook tape for affixing to a neck shroud. The glare reducing feature under the brim makes this hat optimal for working in bright situations. The chinstrap is made of Nomex Kevlar and has a metal postman's slide fastener with quick release buckle. This hat features a plastic contoured chin cup that slides to offer a secure fit and comfortable protection. The Slide-Lock suspension easily adjusts to over 40 different head sizes between 6-1/2 and 8. The material of the suspension is specially formulated for pliable comfort and strength. It also provides a smooth friction-free sliding action. This hard hat is SEI Certified. Meets NFPA 1977 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting, 2005 Edition
