This stunning decorative oil lamp from L & B Lempereur Bernard, a renowned Belgian manufacturer, is crafted entirely from brass and includes a matching brass shade. The lamp is richly marked in multiple places, similar to the famous Miller oil lamps, and shares several design features with them.
The burner resembles the Matador style, producing a large, rounded flame for exceptional brightness. The lamp’s construction is particularly interesting: the base is open and runs through the reservoir up to the burner, allowing for extra oxygen supply, which enhances combustion and light output.
