- Fitment: This E1841P camshaft is fits for 1997-2004 Chevy GM LS V8 Engines without AFM-Active Fuel Management.
- Function: E1841P camshaft in the engine running, driven by the crankshaft rotation, so that the CAM and valve contact and control its opening and closing. Through the different shapes of the CAM and the rotation speed of the camshaft, the inlet and outlet of the gas in the cylinder can be controlled, thus affecting the performance and efficiency of the engine.
- Notes: 3 bolt Cam. Stock valve springs cannot be used. Not compatible with Active Fuel Management (AFM). Custom computer tuning required.
- Application: Great choice for street and race-oriented LS V8 engines,Extremely choppy idle that lets everyone know your LS means business,Works well for 6.0L LS and LS strokers with increased displacement,Recommend 3,000 rpm stall torque converter for best performance.
- Features: Increases top end power with some sacrificing of low-end torque, a good fit for naturally aspirated or boosted applications,An aggressive cam that will lose some driveability on the street,Upgraded valve springs are required due to increased lift, Custom engine management tuning will be required for best performance.
