These arms have an altered ball joint angle for 2-4” lifts so that full motion is achieved again therefore increasing the lifespan of the ball joint. What these control arms DON’T do: They do not adjust camber or caster They do not increase or decrease the length of the arm, they are the same length as the factory arms They do not prevent the arm from hitting the coil springs. If your existing arms hit the coils, so will these. Control arms hitting the coil springs usually means an improper lift. They do not work on trucks with lower than 2" or higher than 4" lifts They do not work on trucks with no front lift (factory height) These control arms replace the factory upper front control arms on the Tundra trucks and Sequoia SUVs that have a 2-4" lift. When lifting your truck the factory control arm ball joints may bind, causing premature wear. These control arms have an altered ball joint angle so that the ball joint can move around freely again. J-Power USA crafted these using heavy duty SAE-AISI 1020 steel CDS tubing (1.4" actual diameter) with heavy duty replaceable ball joints. All the joining parts are welded by hand by our talented welders to offer strong, reliable and consistent welds. The bushings are hard rubber to offer an OEM ride feel. A semi gloss powder coat is applied to protect the metal from the elements. This kit comes in 2 pcs to accommodate both upper front arms on the left and right sides of the vehicle. Professional installation highly recommended. Ball joints comes pre-greased so there is no need to add additional grease.
