Product Description Direct OEM replacement for use in a hot water heater without an anode rod hole. Installs directly into the hot water side outlet. From the Manufacturer Camco’s 11622 Anode Rod can be installed into the existing hot water connection of a standard residential water heater. Sacrificial aluminum anode rods extend water heater tank life by providing galvanic corrosion protection for the water heater tank. It preserves the life of your water heater by corroding itself so you water heater tank does not.
