Premier Kale is a high-producing variety, Premier kale has medium green foliage with leaves up to 12" long. The plant is upright and compact, great for in-garden or container planting. For best results, avoid planting in an area of the garden where any vegetables in the cabbage family were grown the year before. Cool-hardy kale withstands light frost and can be re-sown in midsummer when temperatures drop for a fall crop. This variety will harvest between 55-65 days. It will grow to a mature height and spread of 15 inches. It will grow best with full sun of six plus hours in growing zones 1-11.
