Ruby red in color with aromas of wild cherries, black currants, dried spring flowers, and a touch of licorice, Bolla Pinot Noir is well balanced and offers fresh fruit flavors with black-cherry nuances. Hand-harvested grapes are whole-berry pressed and fermented in stainless steel on average for seven days. Extended maceration deepens the color and renders the tannins soft and silky. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, which increases the wine's roundness and makes for a soft, full mouthfeel. The wine is aged without oak to retain its bright fruit flavors. Bolla Pinot Noir pairs perfectly with grilled salmon, lamb, veal, and pork. It is also good with semi-aged cheeses.
