With a Black Stallion Safety FR Cotton & Cowhide Hybrid Welding Jacket, you get the best of both worlds; rugged leather sleeves shield arms from sparks and spatter, while breathable cotton protects the torso. It's the perfect combination of comfort without sacrificing protection or durability. The jacket also features silver FR reflective tape, with an "X" design on back for hi-visibility, and a pass-through for fall harness on the back. This jacket is made from 9 ounce FR cotton in the body with side split cowhide sleeves. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it wont continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
