Fire-Rated Electric Strike, Cylindrical Latches, 24VDC, Fail-Secure, Satin Stainless Steel, designed for hollow metal door jambs. It offers remote electrical control for doors with cylindrical locksets, up to 5/8" latchbolt projection. Upon electrical actuation, the strike jaw unlocks, releasing the latchbolt, allowing the door to open without manual latch operation.
- Fire Rating: UL10C, CAN/ULC-S104, fire rated for 3 hours
- Case Dimensions: Approximately 1" x 3-3/8" x 1-5/8" deep
- Strike Lip Compatibility: Basic 7240 strike lip fits 1-3/4" thick doors closing flush with jamb edge
- Strike Opening Details: 5/8" x 1-7/16" x 9/16" deep, stainless steel jaw and lip, accepts various latchsets
- Faceplate Size: Measures 1-1/4 x 4-7/8"
- Voltage Options: Available in 12 or 24 volt AC and DC; DC units are silent, AC units may 'buzz'
