- In winter, all liquid will be in the bulb as it will show room temperature. You can use it without shaking it the first time when you take it out of the box. If not, please reset (shake) the thermometer before using it.
- It is designed to have a stop feature in the tube, this helps you to lock the data. It can rise, but it can't go down automatically unless you shake it (tip down)
- Change the view angle slightly 3 to 5 degrees by rotating the thermometer, so you can easily read your temperature.
- Don't put it in hot water since the high temperature will be out of range of the thermometer, causing it to break.
- Don't put it in the refrigerator or in cold water to reset it, the only way to get the liquid to go down is to vigorously shake the thermometer.
