2019 Château Massieu Boutet Bordeaux Rouge is a lovingly crafted red blend from France’s esteemed Bordeaux wine region. Composed primarily of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine offers depth and complexity with every sip. Deep red with purple glimmers in the glass, it opens with enticing aromas of small black fruits with hints of cocoa. The palate is exquisitely ample and fruit-driven in flavor, wrapped up by silky tannins and a lingering finish. Owned by the same family since 1753, Château Massieu Boutet is ideally located on clay-limestone hills of a small village in Bordeaux's Entre-Deux-Mers sub-region. The vineyard holds a sustainable agriculture certification (Haute Valeur Environnementale, or HVE) from the French Ministry of Agriculture, which is the program’s highest and most stringent certification label. Best served at light chill, Château Massieu Boutet is exceptional sipped on its own or served with a variety of flavorful dishes.
